June Newsletter
By Cheval John
I am very sorry for being late in writing this newsletter.
I took an unexpected three weeks off from posting a blog.
I am now getting better in the trasition process of working at a second job during the night time while running my business.
What I have learned is that it is never easy to run a business while working full time.
However, it is worth it because I have the opportunity to learn more about the travel industry first hand by working in the hospitality business.
So my goal for this month is to be consistent in putting out weekly blog posts during this season of working as an employee in the hospitality business.
With that being said, I want to add that I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Dr. Ai Addyson Zhang on her facebook live show, “Classrooms Without Walls.”
Her show is well run and has viewers from around the world.
Another thing is the show is very niche and people who pass on the opportunity to be on Dr. Zhang’s show are missing out.
In addition to the show, here are articles for this month’s newsletter:
The Importance And Relevance Of Twitter In Today’s Digital Space-Dr. Ai Addyson Zhang Digital Learning Consultant
Tipping is a sensitive subject and almost everyone has a strong opinion-Diane Gottsman of The Protocol School of Texas

The article was based from the Twitter Chat she hosts called #WinnieSun.

Dr. Ai Zhang: Digitial Learning Consultant
By Cheval John
Dr. Ai Zhang returns to What’s The Word? to share about her popular facebook live show, “Classroom Without Walls.”
She started as a professor of public relations at Stockton University almost ten years ago.
During that time, she had an epiphany that changed the direction of how she taught social media for public relations students.
While she was grading one of her students’ paper, she noticed they never heard of pinterest and twitter chats.
In that moment of shock, she shifted her mentality and dive right into twitter chats and it changed the way how she taught social media to her public relations students.
At the same time, her Twitter account grew exponentially.
Dr. Zhang moved to South Korea last year and started her blog on Medium.
A month later, she began “Classroom Without Walls” where she interviews education professionals and social media professionals.
The show has been watched from around the world on a weekly basis.
In this episode, you will hear:
-why producing content consistently is important
-how major media companies are starting their own live streaming network
-why the declaration of facebook zero is just an over-reaction
-Dr. Zhang’s perspective of watching the Winter Olympics in South Korea via their media organization
