It’s Possible To Interview A-Listers
By Cheval John
We see everyday in the news about celebrities who are either promoting their movies, in the tabloids for some crazy reason, etc.
We might think it is impossible to reach out to them because they seemed impossible to reach.
We look up to them because of their star-power and dream to be like them.
Case in point, Shark Tank.
Shark Tank has rose in popularity since it began almost 6 years ago.
We have grown to adore the stars of that popular reality television show because of the lessons we learn about pitching to investors, valuations of companies, hearing each of the Sharks (Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner) fight among themselves to try and gain a piece of the company if the pitch was good.
What if I told you it is possible to learn how these celebrities rose to become one of the most successful business people in the world.
Geoff Woods has been able to interview some of the most well known people who are on top of the world in their respective industries.
Mr. Woods is the host of The Mentee Podcast, a show that was launched earlier this year.
He gives listeners a “behind the scenes” look of discussions he has with his mentors and allows them to hear how they achieved their success.
Mr. Woods is currently in transition from employee to entrepreneur.
What is really interesting is Mr. Woods shared his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur with his bosses at his current employer.
And they did not have a problem with his dreams of becoming an entrepreneur.
In fact, they see it as a bonus because Mr. Woods has taken his work to another level because he is more disciplined with his work.
What if many companies had that same mindset of allowing their employees to grow and also to venture out on their own if they so desire to?
Maybe we will see more happy people in the workplace.
And what if many people would have the same mentality of Mr. Woods in reaching out to the seemingly unreachable who are really successful and learn how they achieve their success?
Maybe we would see more successful businesses and possibly a healthy economy in the United States.
We can only dream because the majority will never have the courage to reach out to that ultra-successful entrepreneur because they are so content in the so-called stability of being an employee.
